O WOMAN! LOVE THYSELF
This lady in the recent Bollywood flick, had delivered
dialogues for the few camouflaged notions of our society. One of them was the hard
hit to the member of the fair sex in which she says, ‘aurat anaj uga bhi
sakti hai, paka bhi sakti hai. Bachcha paida bhi kar sakti hai, bada bhi kar
sakti hai. Dekhne jae to aurto ko mardo ki koi khas zarurat waise hai nahi. Par
ye bat agar aurto ko pata chal gai to mard bechare ka baja nahi baj jaega?’
("Women can farm and cook. We can give birth
to children and raise them. If you think about it, women don't really need men
at all. But if women figured this out, men would be screwed, wouldn't
they?")
If women are capable of leading their lives on their own, who is
stopping them from doing it? Today’s woman is smart, self-independent, educated
and so much ahead of time. She is a teacher, a scientist, an astronaut and what
not. Still, when its about the relationship with the opposite sex, she is
always the weaker partner (except a few of them; of course). Many successful
women are in a toxic relationship so that they are not required to lead a life unchaperoned.
Loneliness is a disease for some people but if one is able to achieve mastery
in leading the life unaccompanied; they are the happiest people on this earth.
Here, the point is not to motivate the gentlewoman to move away from any
healthy relationship, but it is to inculcate and embrace in her the quality of
self-love. In order to impress others, especially the masculine junta, she
forgets the priority of her life. And so, she fails to love herself by loving
others and making their life happy and comfortable.
Recently, when on a Mother’s Day function held by a school, it was
noticed that when the mother’s were given the opportunity to present any desirous
performance of themselves on the stage, they chose to present their child
instead of self. The management was disappointed because it was a platform for
the mother as well as the woman who were mostly homemakers, such as to showcase
their talent because children were already given immense opportunities. And it
was their day; a day dedicated to the mothers. But they chose to remain happy
by not showcasing their inner aptitude. It is actually heartbreaking to find a
woman in such a position where she does not even know her likes, dislikes and the
calibre (if there is any).
Women need to ponder on this. They should break the shackles if required
and if one is leading a happy and beautiful life, then she should judge the
parameters of her self love. Because if she is being loved by herself, then she
requires no one to love her. She should be able to differentiate and prioritise
her needs at the outset.
They are capable of doing the most difficult task on this earth-
PROCREATION. Subsequently, nurturing and bringing up the child and making him
or her to a full-grown human.
And after enduring so much, does she really need someone else to hold
her when she falters?
Great 👍
